Alan Beroud, President of the Polish state railway group PKP, was elected Chairman of the International Union of Railways (UIC) at the General Assembly in Lisbon. During his term of office until 31st December 2025, Beroud will focus on the implementation of the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS) and the introduction of the Open Sales and Distribution Model (OSDM).
