The engineering firms Artelia and TUC Rail have signed a subcontract with a GCF-led consortium to provide engineering and construction supervision services for the track and overhead line systems on the planned high-speed rail (HSR) line between Kenitra and Marrakesh. The contract covers around 200 km of HSR infrastructure, with a focus on track construction and electrification, including overhead line construction. The 430 km HSR line is to be completed by 2029.
