The Spanish steel mills of steel group ArcelorMittal in Verina and Trasona have been awarded the contract to supply rails for the 23.6 km extension of the Bangkok Metro's Purple Line. The extension, which includes 17 additional stations, is scheduled for completion by 2027 and will run from Tao Poon to Rat Burana.
